The Miss Morris Area Scholarship Program is an official local preliminary to the Miss Minnesota and Miss America Opportunity. As a nonprofit and volunteer based organization, our mission is to empower young women through scholarship, leadership, service, and personal growth.
Contestants have the opportunity to earn scholarships, develop valuable life skills, build meaningful friendships, and make a powerful impact in their communities. Whether you're pursuing higher education, looking to strengthen your confidence, or hoping to serve others, the Miss Morris Area Scholarship Program provides a supportive environment to help you grow both personally and professionally.
Getting started is easy! Simply fill out the contact form on our main webpage. Eligible candidates will receive information about orientation, rehearsals, competition requirements, and important deadlines.
Throughout the process, our board members and volunteers are available to answer questions and guide first-time contestants every step of the way. No previous experience is necessary. We're here to help you succeed.

To be eligible to compete as an at-large, local or state participant for either Miss America or Miss America’s Teen in September of this year, you must: be a female, meet the age criteria as shown below, be living full-time as a resident of your state, or employed full-time in person, or enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.

Not at all! Many of our contestants compete for the very first time through the Miss Morris Area Scholarship Program.
You don't need previous pageant experience to be successful. Our board members, volunteers, and former titleholders are committed to helping every contestant feel prepared and confident. We provide guidance throughout the entire process so you can focus on enjoying the experience and growing along the way.
The Miss Morris Area Scholarship Program awards educational scholarships to deserving contestants each year. Scholarship amounts may vary based on available funding and placement in the competition.
In addition to local scholarships, winners have the opportunity to compete at Miss Minnesota, where additional scholarship opportunities are awarded. Our goal is to help young women invest in their education while developing skills that will benefit them for years to come.
